FRAMING ANTIQUES

Almost all of us like Antiques and framing them in Dubai is done with all responsibility without losing quality over at PickframesFraming antiques should be thought of as putting something in a display case. Unlike other farmable counterparts, antiques stand aside as they require a different sort of perspective. Let’s take an antique coin for example. Most of them should be made of Bronze or Gold or some other alloy and they require occasional polishing. So the framing has to be done in such a way that it could be opened again and the framed object could be taken out. Teak or any other frame would best suit an antique, as they hold an aesthetic that complement the aforementioned.
The background of these framables could be given a deeper thought, as it could be wither black or white depending on what they are. If it is something that is from the ocean, let’s say a clam shell. It is best placed on a black back ground or any shades that absorb most of the light from our eyes. This is because most of the things that we get from the ocean are brightly colored and they stand out against the blackness of the background like how we see moon in the night sky. An entirely new concept that we can use here is lighting, we can put sot light underneath the display so that the object is illuminated and gets a highlight. We can go for a white light 90% of the time. The rest 10% is something else, like if it something that has UV (Ultra Violet) properties, we may use something called a black light or a UV light.
At Pickframes, we understand the mind of a true antique collector and once we sit down to talk, everything will go as you intended. We bring framing in Dubai/Abu Dhabi to a whole new and different level!
